The Norwegian Council for Road Safety
We’ve helped our partner revamp the Children’s Road Safety Club with activity books, animations, edutainment videos, board games and interactive content. By blending play, arts, and crafts, we engage kids in learning about road safety in a fun and creative way.
Character Development
Led by Øistein Kristiansen and Marius Andersen, Earthtree Media reinvented Lyset—a traffic-light-turned-superhero—along with Trym og Madikken and several side characters, bringing them to life across online activities, books and games.
TV Series
Earthtree Media produced a 8-episode TV series—handling studio, editing, and animation—where creativity guru Øistein Kristiansen teaches children, together with adults, to learn about traffic safety while drawing and creating familiar traffic elements in a playful and engaging way.
Board Game
This exciting board game combines strategy, chance, and real-world learning as players race to reach the finish line. Unique dice and game pieces create an engaging experience where players move forward by following key road safety rules: using reflectors in the dark, wearing bike helmets, and crossing roads safely. Break the rules, and you might fall behind!
Activity Mat
The Road Safety Play Mat is designed for preschools, early elementary, and after-school programs. With task cards and plenty of space for imaginative play with toy cars, it transforms traffic education into a fun, hands-on experience that helps children learn to navigate traffic safely and confidently.
Books
Earthtree Media has created several activity books for Barnas Trafikklubb. Through storytelling, children learn traffic safety rules in a fun and visual way as Trym and Madikken show how to make smart choices in traffic. By exploring what to do, how to do it, and why, children learn to reflect, understand, and navigate traffic safely—even when mistakes happen.
Reflector Heroes!
Earthtree Media partnered with the Norwegian Council for Road Safety to create engaging materials for the annual Reflectors Day. Through Barnas Trafikklubb, we delivered fun educational tools, including a superhero comic, creative tasks, and innovative reflector cards, helping children in grades 1–4 learn about road safety and the importance of visibility in an enjoyable way.
