Box Yourself at the BBC

Øistein and Nick visited London this week to film with the BBC!

Working with BBC Learning and BBC R&D, Øistein filmed a new episode of Box Yourself featuring Peck the chicken, to test out their brand-new, in-development interactive video format.

Øistein was filmed simultaneously on 13 cameras, and Peck captured from all angles at all stages of build. The plan is that kids will be able to play, pause, zoom and pan around a 3D model of Peck at each stage of construction. They will also be able explore instructions and annotations embedded directly into the video. It’s now heading into post-production – watch this space for news of the launch.
